Hello! My name is Olivia Fix.I am a photographer with a degree in economics. I live in Germany, I was born in Siberia and grew up in Latvia. Photography is not just a job for me, it is my passion. Very often I create something just for myself. I can't imagine my life without photography.
My first encounter with photography, at that time still analogue, was when I was 8 years old. What started as a hobby back then has been a job for 3 years. Photographers such as Peter Lindbergh, Kat Irlin, Annie Leibovitz, Arthur Elgort and Soul Leiter have shaped my style. I love movies and want to capture people's feelings and stories in my photos. My photos should speak to the viewer.
These people and love for stories shape my style. But the process is not yet complete. It changes with me.
In 2021 I discovered my passion for working with brands and in 2022 I worked with some brands and models.
Before I work for a brand, I try to understand its code. Brand mission, values, what should or is the brand already associated with. Once I've internalized it, the photo shoot will go smoothly.
When I have artistic freedom, my photos are natural, vivid, from life. I try to show the best version of the person.
I see my future in the fashion industry. I want to put my energy into teamwork to create stylish and interesting photos that will sell the product.
